I’m afraid to die, I cannot lie.
I might as well give up and cry.
Is there no answer for my fear?
I wish someone would hear.
I searched and searched to no avail.
I feel as if I’m old and frail.
But I’m still young as young can be.
Whatever will become of me?
Seek no more my friend, help is here.
You’ll soon realize it’s very near.
Open your Bible, and you shall see.
Jesus is the answer for you and for me.
He died to save us all from sin.
Believe in Him only, and you will win.
Eternal life will be yours this day.
It will never, ever go away.
Jesus died, was buried, and rose again.
He sacrificed his life once, for all men.
He loved us so much. He did this deed.
He hung on the tree. He so did bleed.
His blood is the answer for your fear.
Trust its power and be of good cheer.
Then, live for Him and grow in grace.
All of your sins He surely did erase.
He died to give you a second birth.
He died to give you freedom on earth.
His death is our salvation sure.
His love is the ultimate cure.
