Beyond Valor Blurb
He’s a war hero. She’s the vulnerability he never saw coming.
Just days before Christmas, law student Ivy Ashford’s nineteen-year-old sister vanishes without a trace. The police are convinced it’s murder. But Ivy refuses to give up hope that Willow is still alive—and running out of time.
Enter Cody Everson, a battle-hardened investigator who wanted a quiet holiday, not another case. But Ivy’s determination pulls him into a search as relentless as the Nor’easter closing in on them.
Forced into a fragile partnership that quickly sparks into something more, they uncover the hidden truths of Willow’s life—and in the process, confront the scars of their own pasts that make trusting each other so hard.
In a storm of lies, danger, and undeniable chemistry, can they find Willow before it’s too late? Or will the truth—and their own wounds—tear them apart?
What Readers can expect from Beyond Valor
Beyond Valor will appeal to readers of Nora Roberts’ romantic suspense and Lisa Gardner’s missing-person thrillers, combining emotional depth with a high-stakes winter investigation. It is a novel about loyalty, trust, and how far we’ll go for the people we love.

An excerpt from Beyond Valor…
Cody couldn’t pin down his first reaction to her—and that said something. He’d seen it all. A combat vet from Afghanistan and Iraq, he’d survived firefights, watched IEDs rip through Humvees and men alike.
After the military chewed him up and spit him out, he hit rock bottom, clawed his way back, and spent the last two years stacking sober days like sandbags. He figured he could handle anything.
But Ivy Ashford? She knocked something loose. Pale, makeup-free, her face was framed by tangled hair, her green eyes shadowed but still flickering with hope.
What do you say to a twenty-five-year-old who looks fifteen, drowning in an oversized sweatshirt and the weight of everything she’s lost?
What do you say to the last person left standing, staring at you like you’re the only one who can bring her sister home?
Cody stood at the edge of something he hadn’t seen coming. One step, and he’d fall.
