Luke Daniels has done his fair share of bad things. But when the FBI offers him a deal in exchange for infiltrating the local Mafia’s infamous Costa Crew, Luke has no choice but to accept the challenge.

Beautiful, smart and tough, Sophia Costa wants out of the Crew. Appointed boss by her brother after he’s sent to prison, she wants no part in the murder, deceit and secrecy typical of Mafia life.

Just as things heat up between Luke and Sophia, a mysterious hitman targets Sophia, and Luke’s handler starts to wonder if Luke is up for the task.

Inspiration to write Bad Guy…

The main inspiration for writing Bad Guy came from watching mob TV series such as The Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy. I find the outlaw structure of codes and rules fascinating but, to keep it light, I also wanted to show the camaraderie and humor within the group itself. And then I wondered what would happen if someone tried and succeeded in becoming a member but then actually started to enjoy being a mobster. I figured that alone would make for an interesting struggle. Throw in an attractive and sassy female mob boss and now you’re in for a wild ride!

“Come for the intrigue, stay for the romance.”
