Autumn Deception Blurb
Money can’t buy you love…
Stressed and burned out, Sierra Scott is coerced by her grandmother into taking a vacation to Harts Valley, Oklahoma for the annual apple festival. Owning and running a multi-million dollar company is a piece of cake compared to deflecting the matchmaking efforts of a determined senior citizen and her sidekick. Before long, Sierra needs a vacation from her vacation.
Widowed Sheriff Cade Collins isn’t prepared for the naked female hiding by Dooley’s pond when he responds to a disturbance call. His days are filled with juggling his job and raising a teenage daughter. No matter how strong the pull of attraction, he simply can’t afford to fall for a woman who is out of his league.

Inspiration to write Autumn Deception…
I was attending my writer’s group retreat day when I asked myself wouldn’t it be funny to have a story with a skinny-dipping grandmother in it? I love writing secondary characters that put a little humor into the story. I could easily see one of my twin aunts doing some of the antics Grams pulled in the Autumn Deception story.
What can readers expect from this book?
An escape from the daily grind with some fun, and humorous characters.
What are some of the themes in Autumn Deception?
Small town romance, millionaire romance, deception (thus the title), and a happy ending.
Is it part of a series or a stand-alone book?
This is a stand-alone story.
One of N. Jade Gray’s favourite scenes from Autumn Deception…
One of my favorite statements is below. Sierra had been rescued from her skinny-dipping excursion, and she spies her grandmother acting all innocent even though she’d stolen her granddaughter’s clothes and left her naked at the pond.
“Do you have your handcuffs on you?”
In the dim light cast through the curtains a quizzical expression appeared on his face. “Yes, ma’am.”
“Well, keep them handy.” She unclenched her fists by her sides. “I may strangle her!”
