Trembles of the Heart by Frankie Sutton
A little bit about Frankie Sutton…
I began lightly dabbling in writing during my freshman year of high school. It mainly consisted of fanfics of shows I loved, such as The Phantom of the Opera. From there, my writing expanded into roleplaying on and off the internet. I officially became a writer in the summer of 2006, when I created Vampiric Crush on my Aunt’s computer in her vacation cottage. Since then, other stories have spawned from my imagination and various situations I encounter in my life. And now I’m here to share my creations with the world.

How far would you go to keep a secret?
For Jessica Everhart, the answer is simple: to the end.
That is until a seizure exposes her two biggest secrets—her epilepsy and the feelings she had for her best friend.

How far would you be willing to go for true love?
For Mason Harris, the answer is simple: everything.
When his crush reveals her feelings, he tells her he’s always felt the same. However, they soon face a new challenge when Mason accepts mentorship from a doctor who has a connection to Jessica’s past. One that can destroy everything.

Inspiration to write Trembles of the Heart…
This started as a challenge to specifically write the story as a novella. I also wanted a story someone could read most, if not all, in between swimming at a beach or a pool.
I was also excited to feature a town I visit often–Grand Haven. There’s an awesome shopping district right on Lake Michigan–a very popular summer location.
Frankie’s favourite scene from Trembles of the Heart…
Mason’s POV
“How about we take this to the backyard?” I tugged her toward the back door. She gave no resistance.
Under the glittering sky, I stare at her as she stares at the sky, the night air cool on my skin.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?”
“Almost as beautiful as you.”
Her laugh was so creamy and rich, filling the gaps in my soul as if I were a molded dessert tray.
Then, she rose up on her tiptoes and kissed me, soft and sweet. I gathered her closer, deepening
the kiss, desire igniting within me, slow and warm like a baked oven cookie.
