The Doc's Christmas Miracle by S.A. Stolin

A little bit about Author S.A. Stolin…
I began my creative life as an actress with credits in film, television, and stage, but storytelling has always been at the heart of who I am. Writing became my second act, and I’ve now published five novels and one bestselling nonfiction book, Act It Out: 25 Expressive Ways to Heal from Child Abuse, which remained a bestseller for nine years. My fiction has been released by respected independent publishers, and my upcoming release, The Doc’s Christmas Miracle, marks my sixth work of fiction. Writing is no longer something I “do” — it’s the way I process the world, connect with readers, and celebrate the resilience of the human spirit.
This is Author S.A. Stolin’s writing and publication journey in her own words…
Inspiration to start writing…
I was inspired to write because I believe stories can heal — they can remind us we’re not alone, and they can offer hope when life feels unbearable. My background in acting naturally drew me to fiction because I already thought in terms of characters, voices, and scenes.
I love writing women’s fiction and romance with a touch of suspense. These genres let me blend emotional truth with heart-stopping moments, giving readers both a cathartic escape and a sense of recognition.

The Doc’s Christmas Miracle Blurb
Disgraced in San Francisco and betrayed by the woman he loved, Dr. Mark Moore flees to Crescent Hill in the Sierra Nevada mountains with little more than his controversial “memory machine” and a bruised heart. At the Sam Heard Clinic, he meets Dr. Susan Pace—brilliant, beautiful, and skeptical of his methods. She believes in music and compassion over machines, but when the clinic itself faces financial ruin and a mysterious crime, Mark and Susan are forced to work together. Sparks fly, faith is tested, and love takes root in unexpected soil. The Doc’s Christmas Miracle is a heartwarming holiday romance of second chances, redemption, and the healing power of love.
One of S.A. Stolin’s favourite scenes from The Doc’s Christmas Miracle…
Excerpt from The Doc’s Christmas Miracle:
Snow fell thick outside the Sierra clinic windows, muting the world in silence. Mark stood at the machine he had nearly abandoned, its fragile hope shimmering like a candle. Susan watched him with folded arms, her heart caught between skepticism and belief. She had seen too much loss to trust easily. But in that quiet moment, she almost let herself imagine it—miracle, memory, and love—all possible under a Christmas sky.
