Nigeria, One Family, a bond that’s strong,
Like a farmer homeward, after a day long.
He carries his bounty, fruits ripe and sweet,
A gift for each neighbor, a family complete.
First, a Yoruba man, with a smile so bright,
He receives a crisp apple, a morning’s delight.
Next, an Igbo scholar, with wisdom untold,
A pineapple gleaming, a story unfolds.
Then, a Hausa brother, with strength in his stride,
A perfect banana, offered with pride.
Together they stand, a beautiful scene,
One nation, one purpose, a united team.
In times of hardship, we never retreat,
This land is our home, forever complete.
For Nigeria’s triumph, our voices we raise,
Like heroes of old, in their glorious days.
Awolowo’s honor, a beacon so bright,
Balewa’s patience, a guiding light.
Azikiwe’s spirit, for freedom’s embrace,
One Nigeria united, forever in place.
